Water and Sewer Capacity
The water treatment plant and wastewater treatment plant are equipped to handle 2 million gallons per day and are currently operating at less than 50% capacity on an average daily basis. Woodstock is positioned to grow in each of our most prominent sectors; residential housing, greenfield industrial and commercial development located close to the interstate, as well as downtown retrofit projects turning underused sites into downtown destinations.
How You Can Receive Water and Sewer Service
Water and sewer costs for residential development are $7,900 ($3,300 for a water tap and $4,600 for a sewer tap) plus installation costs. The standard minimum bill for water, sewer, and refuse is $85.63 based on a minimum 2,500 gallons. Use above that is charged at the following rates.
Larger residential developments are charged this same per unit fee to ensure our system development charges support the water and sewer infrastructure necessary to maintain the highest water quality while allowing for sustained community growth.
Industrial and commercial development are charged based water and sewer tap fees commensurate with the development plan and intended use.
The fee schedule for the various sizes can be found here.
